Get excited for Christmas because it's right around the corner! Keep reading to find out how to dig deep into holiday spirit. You'll need bright decorations, lots of food, and gift ideas for your friends and family. Just remember this tip: Try to incorporate the five senses into your work. Everyone that enters your house would love to use their senses all around them!

Decor: Try to strike out 3 of the 5 senses in this category. Sight, smell, and sound. When I would walk into a room around Christmas time, I would want to see dimmed twinkling lights, shiny tassel hanging from the ceiling, and wreaths hanging about over doors and windows. I would want to smell pine cones, freshly baked cookies, and brand new candles. I would want to hear the latest Christmas hits echoing through the room. Let this room I just described be YOURS! Try to find either brightly colored lights or white lights. Hang up a wreath or two somewhere to liven up a room. Have you ever thought of the many things you could do with a tassel? You can put it on a tree, hang it just about anywhere, and you can cut it up and sprinkle it around the house. Get creative with it! You can buy pine cones at the grocery store and they make your house smell great! There are also great candles out there. Try to get winter themed candles like "Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride", "Candy Cane Lane", and "Christmas Tree Forest". Also put on cheerful Christmas music so people will feel happy and bright.

Food: Every Christmas gathering needs a feast! Cook ham and beans and everything that you wish. Try to add a salad for healthiness and freshness. For dessert, try out Christmas themed sweets. Sugar cookies, apple pie, eggnog, hot chocolate, cinnamon ice cream, you name it! Also think about what your guests want to eat.

Gifts: You already used 4 out of the 5 senses. Sight, smell, sound, and taste. The last one is touch. Get great gifts for your friends and family. Babies would love a cute and cozy pair of pajamas, where as toddlers are getting into toys. An artist's best tool is expensive colored pencils and professional markers. A sketch pad would do nice too. If someone has a Nintendo switch, they may want a new game. It's always good to share!

Well, now you know how to throw the best Christmas bash ever! Decorating, giving, and having great food is the best way to celebrate Christmas. Happy holidays!
